The program provides a star rating for foods available to consumers, letting them know which products may be more nutritious than others while they shop. Dr. Lisa Duizer receives funding for new lab equipmentSeptember 1, 2011
It was announced today that A-HA researcher, Dr. Lisa Duizer received a grant of $124,000 from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation. The money will go towards equipment in her sensory evaluation laboratory. She is currently investigating ways to tailor pureed foods to the sensory and nutritional needs of older adults.
